Scrapbooking Block? Beat It With These Scrapbooking Layout Ideas

Everybody gets a block from time to time.  Whether it is a writer or scrapbooker you get blocked.  The secret is to find a way to beat that block.  What will you do when you get new ideas from what you are about to read.  Lets listen to Jan’s story…

Jan was a very good scrapbooker.  People told her all the time how much they loved her scrapbooks and the new ideas that she came up with.  But this time, she was just staring at a blank page without a new idea coming into her mind.  She knew that this happened to other people, but never to her.  She did not know what to do.

Jan scoured the internet looking for new ideas, but still no new ideas came to mind.  She really wanted a new idea, just not a repeat of something from before.  Jan was suffering from scrapbooker’s block.

Jan’s block was really bothering her.  She thought about it all the time.  Now she was focusing on the block instead of the task at hand.  She was no longer thinking of scrap booking, but of the block.  She was so focused on it that she was preoccupied with it all the time.

Then a friend of her’s suggested that she look at a new book she had run across.  Within a few hours Jan was back on track.  Her latest scrapbook project was a great success.
